The word cookie is not peaceful one, it has more than one connotation. It can refer to lots of different tools. Nowadays, these small peace of data called cookies, and storage in the users smart devices, are the blood life of the digital economy. The icing on the cake.This means that their presence generates important economic flows worldwide. They actually constitute the memory of internet. And so their constitute an important brainfuction of this complex interrelated world networking.

To online service providers they proved pretty useful, bearing in mind that they do enable us to known how a particular user has engaged with our domain or with the online service we offer to the broad public. Through the storage of cookies in their devices, we can know which content of our website was more appealing to them, where the user come from, where did it go after, etc. This is priceless information, according to which we can pivot our business to one way or to another, depending of the facts showed by data.

Cookies themselves are small files that contain information. This information, or data, is sent by the publisher of the service or by a third party who has a presence in the publisher’s web domain, to the user’s storage device.  These tools make it possible to identify the user by storing information on the device. As the user browses, visits certain content, passes on others, so their behavior and the information generated and stored on their device will vary depending on their use of the tools made available to them. Its main function is to manage advertising. This means that the same advertisement is no longer sent throughout the different pages accessed by the user or to personalize the content of the web for each user.
